TNG is growing…

It is with bittersweet earnestness that we say “Good luck in your new endeavors,” to our amazing Executive Director, Sara Gorman. We are not saying “Goodbye,” because, well, once a Nerd, always a Nerd, am I right 🤓?!

Sara will still write and edit for Those Nerdy Girls in addition to serving as Advisor to our Executive Committee as she continues to grow that unbelievable brain of hers, taking on ever-important challenges in the areas of public health and misinformation. If you haven’t checked it out yet, definitely take a look at her recent book on the topic of trust and medical misinformation.

Stepping into the role of Executive Director is MK Haber. MK is a clinician and public health communicator and has been with Those Nerdy Girls since July of 2022 writing, editing, and leading the Reproductive Health Team. In July 2024 they began working as Those Nerdy Girls’ first Content Manager. They are excited and energized to begin leading this team of brilliant women and non-binary scientists and clinicians through this time of heightened need for evidence-based information that is accessible and actionable.

With them on the Core Support Team for Those Nerdy Girls is a group of folks who make the complex behind-the-scenes magic look easy as pie. From the intricacies of managing multiple social media platforms to onboarding new writers to assuring the highest quality of information to being savvy and on-point with all things operational, we have the best team!
