Those Nerdy Girls wanted to remind everyone that COVID is not gone.
In fact, we are in the midst of another surge in many parts of the world right now, notably in the US and some hints of that happening in Canada as well and some parts of Europe.
Since cases are on the rise, there is a higher chance that any symptoms you have actually are š¦ COVID-19.
So, if you can:
ā”ļø Take a rapid antigen test. If negative, try again the next day. If itās positive, you have COVID.
ā”ļø If tests are not available to you, itās a good idea to ramp up your precautions to reduce transmission to others.
ā”ļø Or ideally do BOTH.
Just as a little refresher, symptoms include sore throat, fever, cough, fatigue, runny nose and stuffy nose.
These very much overlap with a cold, and may overlap a bit with the flu and seasonal allergies.
Testing is the best way to tease these apart, but those are not perfect. It’s definitely worth being cautious no matter what.
Always remember your trusty prevention measures like masking š· with well-fitting K95 or N95 masks and improving ventilation where possible.
