Every year on June 19th, we take time to recognize Juneteenth and to reflect on how the ongoing legacy of American slavery shapes our understanding of health equity and the work still ahead. Here is our post from yesterday in case you missed it:

The Association of Schools & Programs of Public Health also has a short post about Honoring Juneteenth for 2026, reminding us that understanding history and working towards health equity are important aspects of preparing and supporting new leaders in Public Health.
