Those Nerdy Girls wants everyone to be able to participate in our democracy by voting. Your voice deserves to be heard. Remember that in tight races, just a few votes can make a big difference. One of those votes could be yours.
Although it is too late to register in some states, there are plenty of states where it is still possible. Here is a list of voter registration deadlines in all states. Some states allow registration even on election day.
Don’t assume you are registered. Check here to make sure!
What does voting have to do with health? A lot!!
Elected officials play a key role in shaping policies and implementing programs that impact health at the national, state and local level. They also play a major role in navigating public health emergencies. Voting is critical to a healthy democracy, a healthy nation, and the health of our communities.
