Dr. Clark-Cutaia is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing and Grossman School of Medicine. She received a BS in Nursing (2003), and MS in Nursing (2006) from the University of Pennsylvania, and her PhD in Nursing (2012) from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Clark-Cutaia continues to practice as a nurse practitioner in the fields of Urology, General Surgery, and Otorhinolaryngology. She served in the United States Air Force Reserve in an aeromedical evacuation squadron as a flight nurse and in an aerospace medicine squadron in a public health nurse capacity. She is president of the Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau and the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing Alumni Board. Dr. Clark-Cutaia’s scholarship focuses on the increased morbidity and mortality risk that results from end stage renal disease and hemodialysis renal replacement therapy and health equity. She is the mother to three little people under the age of 7, and an 8-month-old Great Dane puppy. She is a lover of the Peloton nation, travel, and knitting. She is a firm believer of self-care and practices this regularly through yoga and manicures that typically feature bright colors and intricate nail art.
