Lee Weintraub, MPH, CHESⓇ (she/her) is a public health practitioner and science communicator based in Madison, Wisconsin. With a decade of experience in professional writing and storytelling, her science communication experience has included teaching, brand marketing, and providing health education to diverse audiences. Lee holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and bachelor’s degrees in science communication and nutritional science–dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her unique background in clinical science and science communication enables her to engage with audiences effectively on a wide range of health and healthcare topics. As a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHESⓇ), she specializes in developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based health promotion programs. Early in her career, she developed health promotion programs for college students and served as a public health lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, her favorite hobbies include hiking, biking, playing in the snow, swimming in Lake Superior, and cross-country skiing.
