Barbara is a mother of two children who inspire her work to create kinder and safer communities where everyone can thrive. She is also the founder of Teku, a women and person of color led collective transforming child, family and community mental health through education, peer support and strategic partnerships. Through partnerships with community organizations and leaders, Teku co-creates educational, healing and supportive services that invite a holistic interconnectedness among communities and with our world.
