On Friday, Dear Pandemic’s own Editor-in-Chief Dr. Jennifer Dowd won a fancy award from the largest scientific association of demographers, the Population Association of America. She received the 2022 Clifford C. Clogg Award for Mid-Career Achievement.
During the award ceremony, her work here at Dear Pandemic was highlighted as one of the many factors that makes her so outstanding. But we already knew that. 😉
In addition to her volunteer work here, Dr. Dowd is the Deputy Director of the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science and Professor of Demography and Population Health at the University of Oxford in the UK.
