Q: I know where to find information on COVID-19. But how can I share this information with clients/patients/friends/people in my family who do not speak English as a primary language?
A: While we have a long way to go in making information equally accessible to all populations, there are some excellent resources out there.
Here are a few who provide quality information.
1) State health departments in addition to the CDC website offer Web and print information on COVID-19.
Examples from the Greater New York Hospital Association
2) The COVID-19 Health Literacy Project is offering fact sheets in 30+ languages. These sheets can be easily downloaded and printed.
3) The Refugee Response is offering COVID-19 videos and resources in a variety of languages.
