Long answer: I get it. Your boss expects you to continue being a productive, professional adult. (Whether your boss is a Dean, a middle manager, or yourself.) Sometimes you need your kids to get out of your hair. If you can pair up with one other family who can also isolate completely, I think that’s ok. Serial pairings of kids, or pairing with kids whose parents are seeing patients (or other high contact job) are not.
