Dr. Pamela Chung is an Associate Program Director at the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Sugar Land, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, and her medical training at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, followed by Family Medicine Residency at Queens University in Kingston, Canada. Since residency, Pamela has completed a Diploma in Graduate Medical Education from the University of Dundee in Scotland to better serve her learners, and a fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine to better serve her patients. Her passion lies in making information usable and accessible to any audience. Her love of creativity and crafting led her to join the Social Media Squad where she can combine art with healthy literacy and data. Pamela volunteers as the Texas State Medical Director for Reach Out and Read, an organization whose aim is to promote literacy at home (target age 0-5 years) and early relational health in the family. She currently calls Texas home, with her husband and two daughters. When not chasing the kids, she can be found in her craft room or the garden.
