MacKenzie (Kenzie) Isaac, MA, Contributing Writer

University of Oxford
Oxford, England

MacKenzie (Kenzie) Isaac, MA, CHES®, is an aspiring social epidemiologist and health communications specialist who loves discussing all things health equity. Her specific research passions are the sociology of body image; racial/ethnic minority mental health; the complex relationship between faith, spirituality, and mental health; community organizing for health promotion (particularly youth mobilization and development); built environment interventions for health promotion; and the reproductive health care of Black women and girls.

Kenzie previously completed degrees in Sociology and Health Education. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Modelling for Global Health at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, and she will continue at Oxford in the coming years as a PhD student in Population Health. When she is not studying or writing for TNG, you can find her diving into a new dystopian novel, trying really hard to keep her plants alive, or daydreaming of retiring into beekeeping.
