“Heidi Schutz is a native Spanish speaker and an organismal biologist specializing in the evolutionary anatomy of vertebrates. All anatomy and physiology fascinates her, but bones are her jam. Heidi’s experience as a college professor and a researcher allows her to combine her interests in data analysis, visualization, and scientific communication to promote access, equity and inclusivity in the sciences, including public health. The outdoors, nature, and movement are her lifeline, so she spends as much time as she can sea kayaking, hiking, and climbing.”
