Guest Author Molly Harding, DPT
Molly holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland and has been treating pelvic floor and orthopedic conditions in the Baltimore area for the past six years.
Originally trained as a performer at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Molly brings a unique perspective to movement dysfunction and is committed to identifying the root cause of her patients’ symptoms. A self-proclaimed anatomy nerd, she is deeply invested in continuing education to provide up-to-date, evidence-based treatment. She is also passionate about supporting and developing emerging professionals to help improve patient access to quality care and serves as a clinical instructor and teaching assistant.
Molly is on a mission to make pelvic physical therapy the standard of care for birthing individuals and for patients recovering from pelvic surgeries, including hysterectomies, C-sections, prostatectomies, laparoscopic procedures, gender-affirming surgeries and more. She believes nothing is more basic, or universal, to the human experience than peeing, pooping, and sexual function. Everyone has a pelvic floor!
In addition to clinical care Molly is passionate about spreading pelvic health knowledge and has volunteered as a Guest Lecturer at Towson University, Baltimore Senior Centers and multiple assisted living facilities.
Outside of work, you’ll find Molly running after her 4 year old, reading thriller novels, and experimenting in the kitchen.
