Grayson Waits, MPH, currently works as an Oak Rise Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). At the CDC, she works within the Division of Reproductive Health on the Emergency Preparedness and Response Team. With the team, she serves as a health communications specialist and develops and contributes to communication products, analyses and manuscripts. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2023 with a Master in Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology. While at UGA, she worked as a research assistant in the Economic Evaluation Research Group and served as an accompaniment advocate at The Cottage Sexual Assault Center. Her research interests include women’s sexual and reproductive health, violence prevention, and community health.
