Dr. Chloe Gibbs is an expert on education policy and the economics of education, and her research focuses on measuring the effects, both intended and unintended, of policies and programs targeted at disadvantaged children and families. Her research on early childhood investments has been cited by TIME, U.S. News, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and the President’s Council of Economic Advisers. She is currently an assistant professor of economics at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Gibbs holds masters degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago’s Harris School. She lives in northwest Indiana with her spouse, four kids who are 1, 5, 10, and 11, and two pups. Since August 2020, she has maintained a blog on the evidence on schools, students, and COVID-19
