Ashley Sever is a health communicator with more than 13 years of experience creating, implementing, and supporting integrated health communications programs for government, nonprofit, and private sector clients, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Currently, she leads the Health & Science Education Division at Fors Marsh, a strategic communications agency. She also led a communications program for a local public health agency where she lives in the Denver, CO metro area, and served as Public Information Officer during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout her career, she has worked to raise awareness, increase knowledge, and drive behavior change to improve health outcomes across numerous health topics, including vaccine-preventable diseases, diabetes, heart disease and stroke, HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and many others.
