Dr. Yasmin Mohseni, PhD is an immunologist with experience in the cell and gene therapy biotech space, specialising in immunotherapy for cancer and immunoregulation. Dr. Mohseni earned her PhD in Immunotherapy from King’s College London, where she focused on engineering regulatory T cells (Tregs) to promote immune tolerance to solid organ transplantation with applications to autoimmunity. After her PhD, she began her biotech journey advancing Treg-based therapies, and now resides to California, where she works at biotech company within the cancer immunotherapy space, developing therapies for solid tumours. She currently serves as the scientific lead within Quality, bridging analytical strategy, process and product knowledge improvements within CMC. In her spare time, Dr. Mohseni also does science communication on instagram (@doctor.yas_) focusing on educating about the immune system and immunotherapy, including new breakthroughs within the cancer and autoimmunity space.
