Lee Weintraub, MPH, CHESⓇ (she/her) is a public health practitioner and science communicator based in Madison, Wisconsin. With a decade of experience in professional writing and storytelling, her science communication experience has included teaching, brand marketing, and providing health education to diverse audiences.Lee holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and bachelor’s degrees in science communication and nutritional science–dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her unique background in clinical science and science communication enables her to engage with audiences effectively on a wide range of health and healthcare topics. As a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHESⓇ), she specializes in developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based health promotion programs.In Lee’s current role, she works to support Wisconsin’s healthcare workforce and improve patient care. Earlier in her career, she developed health promotion programs for college students and served as a public health lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, her favorite hobbies include hiking, biking, playing in the snow, swimming in Lake Superior, and cross-country skiing.
